Have I told you I like Spring? Warm weather? Sun? Well, it’s finally here! Of course, we’ll still have that nasty “Blackberry Winter” as my mom always called it. And, we’ll see rain and storms. I’ll take all that when I can drive home in the afternoon at 6 pm and it’s still daylight! I can plant some flowers. And clean out the garage. And talk to my neighbors. Williamson County –
Williamson County continues upward trend in 2016.
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., March 8, 2016 — Home sales in Williamson County made modest gains in February 2016 with a year-over-year increase of 9.8 percent, according to the latest monthly market report released by the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® (WCAR).
There were 280 single-family homes and condominium closings for the month versus 255 closings reported in February 2015. Year-to-date home closings through February 2016 are 605, a 14.15 percent increase from the 530 closings reported through February 2015.
“Williamson County’s residential homes sales continued its upward trend in February indicating the high desirability of the area among home buyers,” said David Logan, President of the Board of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®. “While the winter months can impact the pace of home sales, our area continued to see steady improvement.”

Nashville’s February Home Sales Strongest in Nearly a Decade
Greater Nashville –
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 7, 2016) – There were 2,293 home closings reported for the month of February, according to data provided by the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS®.
This represents an increase of 9.7 percent from the 2,091 closings reported in February 2015. Year-to-date closings through February 2016 are 4,460, a 9.7 percent increase from the 4,067 closings reported through February 2015.
