Join me for the first in my series of blogs on Franklin neighborhoods. This week I want to introduce a neighborhood to you that is a secret to many, even locals. Cool Springs East is a beautiful established community nestled into the east side of Cool Springs. You’ve probably driven up and down Carothers Parkway many times but may have not know that if you turn east on Baker Bridge Blvd, you will run right into this lovely community. There’s actually another entrance if you travel east on Mayfield Drive from Carothers. The community is small in size relative to some of the huge developments in the area. There are approximately 350 homes in Cool Springs East ranging from the $300s to $1 Million built between 1995 and 2004. The community is divided into four smaller neighborhoods, the Knolls, the Meadow, the Village and the Woods. Prices range from the S250’s to the S1.2 Million, and come in a variety of floor plans and elevations. The Village…is located at the south end of the community and was built and marketed by Beazer Homes (then Phillips Builders). Just north is The Woods, built and marketed by John Wieland Homes. Further north you’ll find the the private residents’ clubhouse, swimming pool, and tennis courts. Just north of the pool area is The Meadow, built and marketed by Jones Company. And last, just east you’ll find The Knolls, a small enclave of custom homes with large lots and beautiful views. Since its development Cool Springs East has been immaculately maintained. Its green spaces and yards have grown in beautifully giving the community a lush curb appeal.
Along with its wonderful location to shopping and businesses Cool Springs East is located within the Williamson County School district which regularly ranks amongst the highest in Tennessee. Cool Spring East is zoned for Kenrose Elementary School, Woodland Middle School, and Centennial High School.
Walk to Starbucks, Walgreens, Puffy Muffin… shop to your heart’s content at Cool Springs Galleria and surrounding retailers… take a stroll along the streets lined with sidewalks and shade trees… what’s not to love about this place??
